The Unrenewed Nous(Mind) to Ourselves

A person with an unrenewed nous(mind) is absolutely unable to manage his own thoughts. The mental energy of many Christians is wasted. If our hands can only work far eight hours a day, and what we do during these eight hours is improper, it becomes a waste of energy and a hindrance to proper work. Likewise, we can only use our mind for so
many hours a day. If we waste our thoughts on meaningless and improper things, we cannot think about something proper.

자신에 대하여 생각이 새로워지지 않음
생각이 새로워지지 않은 사람은 자신의 생각을 절대적으로 관리할 수 없다. 그러므로 많은 그리스도인들의 사고력이 낭비되고 있다. 우리의 손이 하루에 여덟시간 밖에 일할 수 없다고 할 때 이 여덟 시간을 합당하게 보내지 않았다면 헛되이 기력을 낭비한 것이며 정상적으로 일하는 것을 방해한 것이다. 이와 같이 우리의 생각의 능력은 하루에 몇 시간 밖에 사용할 수 없는데 무의미하고 합당하지 않은 일들에 낭비해 버린다면
합당한 일에 있어서는 생각을 못하게 된다.
