2 Kings 2:1-14

1. GILGAL-THE FLESH (VERSE 1)

Is there anyone who knows what the flesh is? Is there anyone who knows what dealing with the flesh and judging the flesh are? Many people think that once they overcome sin, they are perfect. Little do they realize that the flesh still exists out from which comes sin! In the Bible the flesh is condemned by God and is very displeasing to God. The flesh is everything we possess from our birth. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh" (John 3:6). All that we possess from our birth is of the flesh.51 the flesh there is not only sin, uncleanness and corruption, but also natural kindness, talent, zeal, wisdom, and ability T%e most difficult lesson for a believer to learn in his lif3 is recognizing his flesh. God must bring him through every kind of failure and exposure before he will know the flesh.

1 . 길갈(1절)-육체에 대하여

무엇을 육체라 하는가? 육체를 처리하고, 육체를 심판하는 것은 무엇인가? 많은 사람들은 죄를 이기면 완전하다고 생각한다. 그러나 또한 죄가 나오는 육체가 있는 줄을 어찌 알겠는가? 육체는 성경에서 하나님이 정죄하신 것이며 가장 기뻐하시지 않는 것이다 육체는 바로 우리가 태어나면서부터 있는 것이다. 『육으로 난 것은 육이요』(요 3:6). 우리가 나면서부터 있는 모든 것이 다 육체에 속한 것이다. 그러므로 그 가운데에는 죄악, 더러움, 패괴가 있을 뿐 아니라 천연적인 선량함 재능, 열심. 지혜와 능력도 있다 믿는이들이 일생에서 가장 배우기 어려운 공과가 바로 자신의 육체를 아는 것이다 하나님은 그로 하여금 여러 가지 실패와 손해를 겪게 하심으로 비로소 그 자신(육체)이 어떠한가를 알게 하신다.
